Happy Sunday! Thanks to everybody who donated to reach the new target, and everybody who’s been spreading the word to bring in new readers. While I depend on the donation money to pay my bills, the number one most important thing for the long-term survival of MU is the continued growth of the audience. Please tell your friends if you think they’d be interested, and share the links with appropriate groups/websites.

Sorry for the lateness of this bonus story. My friend Sonya actually told me I should put a ransom note from her up in place of it, but I escaped to do an actual update. This one is fulfilling two frequent requests: more on skirmish, more on Belinda.

Also, please note that the donation goal has been raised from $250 to $300. While I would love to be able to do this for free and still survive, the cost of everything (including my rent) has been going up and you guys have been hitting the target consistently for a long time now and the audience has been growing. I’d love to see it grow more, so if you can’t contribute directly with donations, tell a friend. Make a plug in your blog/Livejournal. Add a link to your profile or signature on some site you frequent. Every new person who starts reading is putting more money in my ad accounts and is another potential donation, as well as another source for word of mouth. Spreading the word helps keep MU going.

Whoo… did I have some night last night. For those who are curious or concerned, we made it through unscathed. For those who have no idea what I’m talking about, check my blog or simply Google “millard” and “tornado” for details. I’m perfectly fine… was just up all night on red alert.

Once again, I apologize for the delay in getting this written and posted. There were some technical problems with the site due to the increased traffic I’ve been experiencing. I had to do some streamlining. One change you might notice is that comments no longer automatically load… you have to click on a link to bring them up. This should solve the problems we experienced the last time I had caching turned on, as well as drastically increase the speed at which pages load.
