One of the forum-goers started a thread for bonus story suggestions/requests… this is pretty handy for me as it gives me one central place to look if I need inspiration or I have several ideas and I’m not sure which one would enjoy the most demand. This story is partly the result of one such suggestion.

I got a couple requests to write a story with a female dwarf in it. One has actually appeared in the story before, but it was quite a ways back… in the 40s, I think… so I figured it was time to give her some more screen time. Enjoy, and thanks for reading!

Here you go. Sorry for the radio silence for the last few days, but I’m feeling really incredible right now. I’m a lot more secure about my long-term future, and I just plain feel better about… well… the whole world, really. Thank you for your patience, and please notice I’m not dropping the donation total, which means there will be another bonus story this weekend whether people choose to donate further this week or not. That’s one half my admission that I dropped the ball, one half a gesture of goodwill to the world, and one half the fact that I’m terrible at math.
