Away

Away isn't a physical location but rather a non-place where nymphs can store things they don't need at the moment. Mack has tried to catch how Amaranth puts things Away several times but can never quite see how it's done. It seems as though things can only be put Away when nobody is watching.

How this happens is slightly clarified in More Tales of MU 62, when Violet describes how Barley gets rid of beer bottles: “She sort of pushed them sideways through a bottle-shaped hole, and poof. Or not poof. Just gone.” So Violet can observe something of the process, although she doesn't understand it.
