Technically speaking, this page actually talks about *worse* living through alchemy, as it lists various recreational drugs. But the catch phrase is somewhat different than the reality.

Celia's main vice. Traditional haste ages one a year per dose. Newer varieties exist with a lesser side effect (the claim is zero aging, but that claim comes from the pusher.) Probably analogous in effect to amphetamine (known as 'speed' in the classical universe).
